How Can You Help Yulin Rescues?
The Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation has done some amazing work rescuing many of the victims of the dog meat trade overseas. But what happens to the hundreds of homeless pups after they’ve been saved? Another task of the foundation is to rehabilitate and find forever homes for the animals. This involves bringing them back to the U.S. Unfortunately, shipping and transferring all the pups at once isn’t feasible since they are constantly saving more and more animals’ lives in various parts of Asia. We are asking for your help.
If you’re planning a trip to China in the near future, please consider taking a pup on your return flight back to the United States. Of course, it will not be any extra cost to you and we will make the process as simple and convenient as possible. Your destination can be any international airport in the United States. You can make a true impact in the life of a Yulin Survivor by allowing him or her to live a peaceful life with a loving family here in the States.
As the holiday season approaches us, think about the thousands of animals suffering because of this horrific festival and what you can do to help. For more information on the dog trade in Asia, please visit www.animalhopeandwellness.org.
If you’re not traveling to China, there are many other ways to contribute to the cause. The temporary shelters in Asia always welcome donations along with the volunteer opportunities at the Animal Hope and Wellness facility here in Sherman Oaks, California.
